VIGILANCE AWARENESS AND INTEGRITY PLEDGE

 The Vigilance Awareness and Integrity Pledge – 2025 programme was organized on 27th October 2025 at 10.30 AM in the Seminar Hall to promote awareness on integrity, transparency, and the collective role of citizens in combating corruption. The event commenced with Qirath by A. AafiuDeen, III MB, followed by the Tamizh Thai Vaazhthu. The gathering was welcomed by S. Vasuki, II MB. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Y. Glory Violet Aron, Principal, who highlighted the importance of vigilance as a shared responsibility and encouraged everyone to uphold honesty and integrity in all walks of life. The Chief Guest was honored by the Principal, Dr. Y. Glory Violet Aron. At 11.00 AM, the Integrity Pledge was read by Mr. S. Vijayakumar, Department of mathematics, followed by all the staff members and students, reaffirming their commitment to ethical values, transparency, and responsibility in public life. The Resource Person, Ms. K. Shanmuga Priya, Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime PS, Tiruchirappalli, was introduced by Dr. G. Velmurugan, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology. Ms. Shanmuga Priya delivered an insightful and interactive presentation on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” She emphasized the importance of digital vigilance, ethical conduct, and active citizen participation in building a corruption-free nation. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by A.S. Abinaya, I MB, followed by the National Anthem. The event successfully instilled the values of vigilance and integrity among students and faculty, fostering collective responsibility toward transparency and accountability.

VIGILANCE AWARENESS QUIZ COMPETITION

 The Vigilance Awareness Quiz Competition – 2025 was conducted on 30th October 2025 at the Seminar Hall as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week celebration. The theme of the event was “VIGILANCE: OUR SHARED RESPONSIBILITY.” The programme commenced at 10 AM, aiming to promote awareness about integrity, ethics, and anti-corruption values among students through an engaging and educational quiz format. The event began with the arrival and registration of participants at 9:45 AM, coordinated by the event organizers. This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. G. Velmurugan, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, who emphasized the importance of vigilance, honesty, and collective responsibility in building a corruption-free society. Subsequently, the Quiz Coordinator introduced the event and explained the rules and regulations of the competition. The Preliminary Round was conducted from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM, where all participating teams showcased their knowledge and quick thinking. The top five teams were selected for the Final Round, which took place from 11:05 AM to 11:45 AM under the guidance of the Quiz Master. The winners were announced by Dr. Y. Glory Violet Aron, Principal, followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony and an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, who appreciated the participants for their enthusiasm and awareness. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. M. Sathya, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty members, and students for their support and active participation. The programme ended with the National Anthem at 12:00 PM. The quiz competition successfully met its objective of encouraging students to be more informed, responsible, and vigilant citizens. The event not only enhanced awareness about anti-corruption measures but also promoted teamwork, quick decision-making, and moral integrity among participants.

VIGILANCE AWARENESS ON CORRUPTION RALLY

  The Vigilance Awareness on Corruption Rally – 2025 was organized on 29th October 2025 at College premises as part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week. The theme of the programme was “VIGILANCE: OUR SHARED RESPONSIBILITY.” The event commenced at 9:30 AM with the assembly of students and staff members, coordinated by the NSS volunteers. The programme began with a Welcome Address delivered by Dr. G. Velmurugan, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, who highlighted the importance of integrity and collective responsibility in promoting a corruption-free society. Mr. S. Vijayakumar administered the Integrity Pledge, which was taken by the staff members and students, reaffirming their commitment to honesty and transparency. At 10:00 AM, the Principal, Dr. Y. Glory Violet Aron, flagged off the Vigilance Awareness Rally. The rally, held from 10:05 AM to 11:30 AM, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff members, who carried placards and raised slogans emphasizing the need to eradicate corruption and uphold ethical values in all walks of life. After the rally, participants returned to the campus at 11:30 AM. During the rally, various impactful slogans were displayed on placards, such as:
“ஊழல் ஒழிக்க — விழிப்புணர்வே ஆயுதம்!”, “ஊழல் இல்லா சமூகமே நல்வாழ்வின் அடித்தளம்!”, “ஊழல் செய்பவன் நாட்டை விற்பவன்!”, “நேர்மை நம் பெருமை — ஊழல் நம் விரோதி!”, “விழிப்புடன் இரு, ஊழலை தடு!”, “ஊழல் ஒழிந்தால் முன்னேற்றம் வளரும்!”, and “ஊழல் இல்லா இந்தியா — நம் கனவு!”.
The event successfully created awareness among the participants about the importance of vigilance and integrity, encouraging everyone to contribute towards building a corruption-free society.
